The Golf Tavern edinburgh

Very traditional pub, sport was on tv and live music was on the little stage. I went with few team members for drinks after training. Very tasty nachos and a good variety of beers. More food option available. Perfect for groups or even for a chilling out drink. It has seat outside weather permitting.

What a find! I was here for a long weekend staying very close to this place. We started and ended our nights here, lovely atmosphere, decent selection of drinks and had breakfast here too, which was really really good. Staff spot on all round great pub

Great staff, really friendly and great food. My Uni society use this place for socials for the last couple of years, and they're always very accommodating!

Good pub grub, and caters to all dietary requirements. Sports also shown on many TVs, and function room upstairs.

First impression: Old gadgies at the bar talking utter Betty swallocks and swearing every few words was surprising tbh and very off-putting but they're probably keeping the business going. Positives: Nice looking bar though, friendly staff and food looks good prices reasonable.

Dropped in last weekend for a drink or two and a bite to eat with my Irish cousin, who was looking for an Irish coffee all weekend, but couldn't find one! Anyway, the Italian and English girls behind the bar REALLY wanted to make him one, and I almost ran over to the shop to get some double cream as they'd ran out! 😂 Apart from that, it was a funny, brilliant 2-3 hours spent in The Golf Tavern, the staff funny and attentive, keeping us amused for our visit there. I highly recommend this pub. The food is good, as is the drink, and the service exceptional. I'll probably drop in over the weekend for a drink and a bit of banter...

Great service, both a dog and child friendly pub. Our bartender was really lovely and sweet and the drinks were very affordable (student discount with drinks under 4 pounds). If outdoors too very nice views of the meadows and Arthur's Seat.

Great staff, great venue, quick service. well organised for reservations and although we just turned up they went out of their way to get us seated. Great night thank you

Great drinks selection, serves door til late. Big plus they have the NFL on on Sunday evenings ... MASSIVE fan of this. Team mates and I love coming here.

Came here on a walking tour for the Haggis bonbons. They were a nice wee treat. The ales are reasonably priced for Edinburgh and the cocktails well made.
