It's my first time in Edinburgh with my mum as part of my birthday and we came across this place by accident, and we have read some good reviews on this place. We are happy to have had dinner hear tonight as it is one one the best Chinese restaurant either of us has been to. We would go back to this place again without hesitation.

Tasty food. However, if you're hungry, not the best place to eat. We arrived after a day of shopping and chose a variety of dishes. Very expensive, but that's a choice you make, but we agreed that it would be worth it for a nice meal. Unfortunately, when the portions came, we were not happy to say the least as they were not only small, but had very little meats in them. Even the cheapest of foods like chips and rice were spread out over the plates as there was little to cover. The server heard our comments and said to us that they were the same portions everyone got. We decided not to get into that with her and ate our meal and left. One of our party is a very small eater and even she cleaned her plate! We all left unsatisfied and even contemplated a MacDonalds. If the prices had been cheaper we would have accepted the portions more readily, but over £17 for a chow mein for example, should not leave you still hungry afterward.

We have been here lots of times. The food is excellent as is the service. Wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese food. They have an extensive menu and their hot and sour soup is particularly good. We have been back several times since this review and it is still as charming and their food is still fabulous . Thank you to Christina and her team - we will always come back!

Food was delicious. Service was great. Prices average. Highly recommend this Chinese restaurant. We had squid starter which was perfect. Beef curry and deep fried chicken for mains . Again spot on.

I was there quite some time ago. It wasn't busy at all. Staff was nice. I am surprised how low restaurant is rated, because back then food was absolutely perfect. Definitely will come back soon.
