First visit to this Inn, found the food and service to be excellent very busy but nothing was too much trouble. Food choices were good and our chosen meals arrived quite quickly and very nicely presented as well as piping hot. Thanks to all for a pleasant evening.

Food is a reasonable price and delicious. Hospitality is second to none. The garden is well kept and perfect for a summer evening. And dog friendly. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.

Good quality drinks and mostly good quality food. Didn't appreciate having mains delivered while still eating starters. Otherwise staff were attentive and helpful. Also take your reading glasses as you have to read a book to discover gluten free and other features of food on the menu.

Fantastic as usual, I have many issues with foods to be avoided & often need to order an alternative, a bespoke meal was provided for me with no fuss and I think I may have ended up with the best meal at the table. Friendly efficient and delicious. A very enjoyable evening for all four of us. Very good value too.

Called into Globe (as we usually do when visiting nearby Bath) and had a cheeky drink. Ordered food and was delivered hot and quick. Bar staff friendly and very efficient. Great country style pub and bar assistant topped up open log fire, great given day outside. Food is good and reasonable but the settings are lovely, just the place for family meeting or to impress our overseas family who looked it. Gonna be back soon.

Great location and a really cosy place. The staff are all very friendly and offer good customer service. The food however is a bit of a mixed bag - it's not overly expensive, is generally tasty and well presented the quality has definitely dropped a little bit since a previous visit. As a nice safe bet for a low key meal - it's recommended. *UPDATE 2021* - Have visited for the first time in a while. Easy to book a table online and were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The food was good and was enjoyed by everyone in the party. Overall it was a good experience - the only downside was the 30 minute wait between each course. Added an extra star... But not quite at 5-star level. Tip: Download the Vintage Inn App and get 20% off your food bill.

Sunday roast. Fairly priced. Beef good quality but broccoli barely cooked, by far the hardest I've ever had served! Good size meal but a little short on variety. Hot drink and mini desert option didn't really work as the drinks arrived long before the desert so the drinks were cold when the desert arrived. The mini brownie was good. I'd visit again but would prefer taking a chance elsewhere.

We visited on Sunday 14th November, to celebrate my niece's birthday. This was on the recommendation of 2 of the diners who had visited several times before and had highly praised the venue and food. Unfortunately, on this occasion they did not rate at all. 2 diners were vegan and even though they were notified this fact, there were no vegan options to choose from the menu, so they just had roasts without any meat and for this were overcharged for what was offered. Previous diners said that the comparison to 2 roast dinners of beef and turkey were poor offerings to what had previously been served - the meat portion was small, the roast potatoes were tough, not crispy or fluffy at all, tasted old. The broccoli was undercooked and the cauliflower cheese was mushy. The waitress that cleared our table asked if we'd enjoyed our meals as she could see the potatoes hadn't been eaten. She said she'd let the kitchen know, though no reduction to our bill was offered, or any other remuneration. One diner ordered a medium cooked steak which was served well done, no pinkness through the middle. This was changed and for a steak that was served rare, at this stage we could not bother to complain furthermore, so it was tolerated. One cheesecake dessert was ordered, again, overpriced for what was served. The coffees looked good but there was no difference from a latte to a cappuccino and the coffee taste is poor. We will not be returning.
