Never visited the store and have never had a reason to complain about the quality of their products

1/ 5

Never visited the store and have never had a reason to complain about the quality of their products until now. I have worn Doc Martens for more than 20 years, since I was 17 years old. Over the summer, I bought the Glitter Y boots in a youth size 5.5 brand new from a retailer online, they look amazing but the quality is diabolical, the leather has split and torn and I've worn the boots not more than 5 times, I'm totally devastated and will never purchase Doc Marten boots again

Most comfortable footwear. Great staff willing to try on several pairs, until we got the right ones.

Having purchased to order some boots at this store and accidentally putting in the incorrect address

1/ 5

Having purchased to order some boots at this store and accidentally putting in the incorrect address which should not have happened as the delivery address didn’t match my billing address I was informed to contact Dr Martens’ customer services. I then spoke to 3 ‘customer service’ agents who all gave me the incorrect advice, I have now lost £150 due to a delivery error. I bought my boots at a DM store but when they were being ordered the wrong address was put into the system. Although this wasn’t the correct billing address for my debit card, it still went through. Trying to resolve this issue with their customer services was impossible. Their advice to wait for a tracking number was incorrect because it cannot be cancelled unless the good willed people who received the item send it back. In this case they didn’t and signed for them surprised that they’d been gifted a free pair of expensive boots. Thanks Dr Martens ‘customer service’ for giving me untruthful advice based on complete ignorance of policy. Thanks for costing me £150 for a product I didn’t receive, and thanks for overriding the transaction with my debit card to the wrong billing address which I’m sure isn’t legal. This whole experience has horrendous and I will never buy or recommend that anyone else I know buys any of your products!!!!!!!
