It's a Sam Smith's pub, so no music, no TV, no WiFi, just a good pint at a nice price. Lovely big beer garden to the rear, and while they don't do food or bar snacks at the moment there is a chippy next door. There's a family room too. One thing though, that they have no control over, phone signal is non-existent on most networks. You'll have to go outside to call a taxi!

Awful ... shocking customer service from the owners. Continuously sell bad pints and when aired customer gets banned . Still shocks me to this day how bad customer service can be . Sending customers cheeky messages on their fb then banning them for airing their opinion on the bad pint they have just been served is so childish. If they spent at least a shift in their own pub they would know how disgruntled their customers are . A few hrs later and a post from Doo'cot denying private messages . When denying please think of the proof on the recipients Phone.

Great relaxing place for drinks and conversation. A very traditional pub where there is no blazing music playing to drown conversations out. As it's dog friendly, I can take my dog in after it's walk. Staff are very polite, friendly and understand your needs. Very reasonable prices.

I had a brilliant night here at the weekend. The two guys who have taken it over are great. I sampled a drink or fifty. Everything is very reasonably priced. The organic beers are delicious and totally worth the wee bit extra. The main thing I loved was the atmosphere. It felt like it has been open for years already. The new staff have great personalities. Totally my new local and only five minutes away! Keep up the great work guys.

Wasn't Very impressed with this place.. I know it's under new management but I went in the door closest to William hill and you walk through the door and all other doors are closed and no sign to say that the bar is away along the corridor to the right. Above that the staff didnt seem overly happy, more interested in either talking to their mates or floating about. I also think they need to seriously look at their prices. £3.20 for a pint of Draught Coke (basically some carbonated water with a dash of syrup) with no ice. It's daylight robbery. I've been in pubs all over the city and that's at least double the price of the majority of places... on the flip side the dart board is sited and is very well Lit. Also the heating works really well as it was roasting in there. Please understand I'm not writing this review to make the Doo'Cot look bad or slate the place in any way. I am giving an honest review of my experience of the pub. Hopefully it will be a better experience the next time.
