Perfect ending to a wonderful day exploring Edinburgh. Whiskey sampler went right to my head but it was fun getting there! Great food and a friendly staff. The whole experience at the Devil’s Advocate was incredible. We also loved our table location, upstairs where it was warm and cozy. Don’t miss this place if you’re visiting Edinburgh! I can’t wait to get back there one day.

Revisited this bar twice during my stay in Edinburgh. It's modern yet cozy. They take walk-ins for drinks as well as bookings for food. Located down the steps of Advocates Close from The Royal Mile, its still a bit of a secret in some ways. Great cocktail menu and general drinks list with a lot of local brews. I recommend.

Great find for an early dinner in the Old Town. Great atmosphere and friendly, attentive and efficient but unobtrusive staff. Had a minor problem with my meal but the team addressed it very, very quickly and in the most effective way to ensure no loss of enjoyment to our visit. We'll done! Food was tasty and good value. Definitely added to my list of restaurants/bars worth revisiting on my next Edinburgh trip.
