im an extremely nervous patient and avoid the dentist like the plague but forced myself to go as i recently had a severe tooth infection and ended up having it out at a sedation clinic and needed to get my other teeth checked. The nurse (karen) who was actually on reception at the time was extremely helpful in calming me down and reassuring me i would be fine in the dentists care and that he was highly experienced. The nurse who was assisting the dentist barely spoke which was a little unhelpful as it would of been nice to of had abit of reassurance as i was being prepared for my treatment! when you are exremely nervous, silence makes it worse! The Dentist was kind and considerate and used a special numbing cream before giving me an injection which i barely felt! Had a deep filling done and left vey happy and on my next visit i will not be as nervous. Making the dentist aware of how you are feeling is key! would recommend

Good Dentist, doesnt mess about if something needs doing and explains when there is a problem and what they are doing. Receptionists are a bit unfriendly which is a shame as overall its a good basic dentists.
