The cross Lance's pub is run by one of the best publicans I have ever known. The staff are friendly and nice. The cross Lance's pub is how a good pub should be. Good beer. Good food. Great bands on weekends and a happy atmosphere. Really good people too. Come and enjoy a nice evening.

I have only been to the Cross Lances once. The beer was good - Fullers. The place was fairly full, mainly locals, for a charity music night with live bands and a good atmosphere.

Definitely one of the oldest pubs in Hounslow, fortunate to have not become a causality of the the express supermarket disease. You may get the Slaughtered Lamb feeling when you enter the place. It is mostly represented by local regulars ranging from the general geriatric wino to the remnants of the this is England cast. The landlord may of had his happiness chip removed or the dire decimation of drinking culture has taken a toll. Sometimes during weekends there is live music of the tribute band fare. Sport is available as the place isn't completely archaic. Amenities are clean. You may find that the beer or ale on tap is only found in bottle form. They do offer food. The Car park is for patrons only as is the bathroom. The lustre wore off this place unfortunately yet its nostalgic nature is something we don't want to lose. If your ever roaming around the streets of sunny Hounslow drop in and see for yourself a time capsule of public housery!
