After not realising the branch no longer opens on a Saturday, I've been forced to make two journey's to withdraw cash, which means two journey's to London where I was doing a cash purchase - I had to leave a deposit to secure the item then return again today. Basically, this bank no longer serves a purpose for me; as I could have easily gone into St Ives if I'd had an account at another bank. What's annoying is that some other branches do open on a Saturday: i.e. Ipswich etc. I will now be moving my accounts to another (more local) bank

Once again Cambridge population 123000 gets to keep a branch of something or facility open whereas Peterborough population 196000 doesn't. Shameful elitist prejudice and commercial nonsense.

A proper English bank with a traditional helpful attitude. It isn't open weekends however the staff don't seem overworked, and are genuinely friendly towards each other and customers. I had an issue with the new online banking app which has frankly stumped a lot of people. However staff fixed this problem quickly in store! Halifax would make me ring a call centre in singapore. I think this bank attracts a lot of the less intelligent and needy customers who may be intimidated by the setup of other banks. Therefore the customer service and communication in this branch at least, is very good.

I felt that this bank had no idea of customer service. It seemed that every time I have asked them to do something they messed it up. Last time today I'm off to another bank. They insisted that they were right, they had listened to the recording of our call and I was wrong. I asked for a copy. Twenty minutes later £100 compensation.

I came to the bank today to check my balance, register for online banking in case I needed it and get a list of my direct debits. Jay was very helpful. I will miss going into the bank and talking to the helpful staff. Such a shame bank closing. Thank you for your help over the years. I hope I get to see you all around again and you all find a suitable position.

5/ 5

I have been with the bank for over 25 years and while I can understand people complaining that it is not a "gold star service bank", the fact that ethics plays an important part in the bank outweighs things like the bank not being open at weekends for me. I have also always found the staff to be helpful and friendly.

I went to the Co-op this morning ... I had logged into the site earlier ... NO mention of my branch being closed today ... what kind of service is that? 9:30 - 5 Monday to Friday? How many people can get in during those hours? Not all transactions can be dealt with on-line. I have £20.000 in my savings account & was going to see if I could speak with someone about doing something with it ... I guess not. disappointed customer in Cambridge ...
