Absolutely appalling management, will happily lie about promises made and do everything to try and do you out of money. Equipment poorly maintained and tired. Avoid at all costs and don't get bullied into signing ANYTHING before being provided with every single thing in writing.

I left a review 3 years ago that was 4 stars since then the management of this establishment had taken a turn for the worst. They have gone through difficult times like most places and I wanted to be able to support them in future and stay with them when the time was right to return. However the awful communication, lack of continuity between managers and the simple money grabbing approach of this place now has led me to lose all faith in the place I had an arrangement to have my account frozen due to covid. Luckily this was by email so I have a record of it otherwise they probably would dent it. At the end of the month I got a call saying I was in arrears. I paid this and long story short due to a number of problems with the way this was managed I said I felt I wanted to end my contract. I then, 7 days later get another email saying I'm in arrears and my membership has been suspended. So I'm now paying for nothing, which I suppose a lot of people are now. The frustration is that this is due to a lack of competence and communication from managers. This is an expensive gym, you'd expect well employed managers with the service to warrant those fees. Unfortunately now that is not the case. I have this evening managed to convince 3 of my other friends who were thinking of joining my gym to not do so. We will be going elsewhere. Facilities are ok, again for the price they are average. Look around, speak to managers and staff and look at your options. You might get a better response than me but just bear in mind if you need any service from management here it's likely to be less than competent.

Hardly any decent social distancing measures and absolutely NONE in the changing rooms. I felt quite uncomfortable the whole day and left earlier than planned because of that.

Management must be unable to switch their monitor on since they are completely incapable of responding to emails. Used to be a good place but has gone down hill. Avoid entering any contract with this establishment.

Avoid at all cost. We bought an spa day package that cost us nearly £100 each ( spa day and treatment). The pool was full of children, the sauna was in the pool area so even if you didn’t use the pool you couldn’t relax with so many people outside. The relaxing room smells of humidity and mold. The water of the outside jacuzzi wasn’t even hot. We also contracted a 25m massage. I checked the clock when mine started and once it finished. It took only 15m. The lady said this was due to us arriving late? We were there on time but before you enter the room you need to fill in 2 forms. Horrible, we won’t come back or recommend.

3/ 5

I've been a member of this gym for about 3 years and I only really stay for the instructor led classes which are amazing. My experiences of having treatments in the spa and food in the restaurant have also been very positive. However the pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam/changing room facilities are not very pleasant to use. The steam rooms and outdoor jacuzzi are consistently too cold and both jacuzzi's go through cycles of 6 minutes being on and 6 minutes being off - meaning that much of your time is essentially in a luke warm bath with strangers. Much of the tile work is quite mouldy - definitely due a good re-grouting! Overall it's a bit meh.
