Great laundrette, good place to get washing clean and dry also has a TV and sofa for while you wait .

I have used this place once before to have my shirts washed and ironed. They washed and ironed a number of shirts to a high standard agreeing a price for the whole job before leaving my items with them. I went yesterday to drop shirts off again for the same service, expecting the same price. The person serving me refused to provide a price until the shirts had been washed and ironed. They were very rude about it and refused to provide any form of price calculation. I therefore had to find an alternative shop because I was not willing to leave my shirts without agreeing a price in advance.

I have used this local launderette for over fifteen years. I take clothes in every two weeks or so and service has been fantastic and good value for money. Normally I pay around £9 to £10 for a service wash. Today, however, I have just been in to collect my washing to be charged £23! Over twice as much as I normally pay. I was aghast. When I asked why I was told the clothing was very dirty. If I hadn’t needed these clothes for going on holiday tomorrow I would have refused to pay. I work in an office. I don’t play sports. I left them about six T-shirt’s and eight or ten pairs of underwear, a pair of jogging bottoms and a hand towel. £23. That is a joke. As a semi invalid (I walk with a stick) The Clean Machine is the closest launderette for miles. I dread going there again.

I've had a service wash done by staff at The Clean Machine for the past few weeks and have always found them fast and and efficient, usually doing the wash and dry within the same day. The items are dried thoroughly (no soggy socks loitering at the bottom of the bag!) and folded very well. I thoroughly recommend them.

Great lil wash house. Does your things for you. Wash dry fold them all neatly for youth collect. & dry cleaning "Ab Fab!"
