Awful experience! Doesn’t even feel like a gym/spa. Staff have no clue what they are doing. You’d of thought a building like this would be ran professionally but I guess not. The council should take over and sort it out. For a old historical building it should have a professional team of staff and not try and turn it into a full on fitness guru space. Not entirely sure how they are making there money. Won’t even talk about the price of the memberships

Pretty building Limited facilities Staff were not rude but deffo not helpful Swimming pool showers are gender mixed and changing room corridor is muddy af because of the poor location of the showers I cancelled few times and they still charged me few months after, pretty sure it’s GDPR breach.

I was surprised by some negative reviews as for me the staff have been super helpful and friendly . I only use the pool but as a regular swimmer it’s good value and will be great to be able to go again without booking at weekends . I would remove half a star for cleanliness ! It’s fine now but already the grouting in the showers is getting old with touches of rust . Over all I love the vibe and they have adapted well to the Covid restrictions

Abysmal service. I have tried to cancel my membership since March and they just never replied. I have tried through their website, emails, phone, instagram and twitter. They just never reply and have debited my account for this month - absolute joke! A few people I work with used to go to this gym but also have similar issues as they tried to cancel. The staff just ignore you. The gym itself is small, cramped and we waited two months for the weight room to open (even though you had to pay full price). The swimming pool is also small. Not worth the price AT ALL.

Normal baths not made for intensive swimming. Only three lanes and no big clock with seconds at all. Also, no cold shower available for after the sauna, that’s not good for the body. Swimming pool itself isn’t cold enough for that. Sauna was lovely though. And I would like some music while swimming. Wouldn’t pay for it to be honest.

The Turkish baths is amazing, you get your own dressing gown, small towel, jugs of water to top up your glass, and hair dryer in chaning room. After you can relax to calming music. Or fall asleep.

Fantastic facilities including gym, pool and sauna. The staff are really friendly and I have found the customer service to be excellent. Good value and nice and convenient for the city centre. This by far the best pool I have been a member of.

I visited to use the steam bath and sauna. It's a good, recently refurbished but historic venue. Using the website to book was a bit clunky but staff at the City Baths were excellent. It's pricey, given that sessions are just 90 minutes in length, but worth experiencing.
