Gym is well equipped and it's usually pretty quiet. That pool is clean, well maintained and kept at a good temperature. If you're willing to pay a bit more I think it's worth it if your fed up with busy gyms.

Probably the worst customer service I have come across. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional.... all these guys are concerned about is money.... be careful when you want to cancel your membership... they will give wrong instructions and then not even have the courage to take responsibility for it...there are better gym out there...i recommend anything and everything but this gym... worst case buy dumbbells and do it at home but dont go here.... you want to swim? go to tynemouth or dig a bloody pool in your backyard... DONT GO HERE!!!

Normal baths not made for intensive swimming. Only three lanes and no big clock with seconds at all. Also, no cold shower available for after the sauna, that’s not good for the body. Swimming pool itself isn’t cold enough for that. Sauna was lovely though. And I would like some music while swimming. Wouldn’t pay for it to be honest.

The Turkish baths is amazing, you get your own dressing gown, small towel, jugs of water to top up your glass, and hair dryer in chaning room. After you can relax to calming music. Or fall asleep.

I visited to use the steam bath and sauna. It's a good, recently refurbished but historic venue. Using the website to book was a bit clunky but staff at the City Baths were excellent. It's pricey, given that sessions are just 90 minutes in length, but worth experiencing.
