The Cambridge Oven cambridge

I am in love with the 'kind of cinnamon buns' that I can't pronounce. I think it was something Norwegian. However, they are great and not as sweet as others. Like in Stockholm for example. Something I do appreciate. Bread was also very good. Can recommend the buckwheat/kamut bread.

Cozy little Cafe. I just had a hot drink. Seems popular as many persons were in and out.

By far the best bakery in Cambridge. High quality breads and pastries, don’t go stale (like from other ‘artisan’ bakeries), and human opening hours...

incredibly moist and flavorful house sourdough

We got a selection of pastries and a loaf of the house sourdough and everything we tried as delicious and fresh. Tasty coffee too. Unfortunately no pictures as it was all enjoyed too quickly to get any. Lovely local bakery. I also recommend the toasties which were very filling and piping hot.

The croissant and croissant type pastries I got were incredible. Especially the Apple one!! So good that they still deserve five stars even though the following is also true: Unfortunately the cappuccino was a bit burnt. It tasted vaguely like a cigarette, which if you’re an ex smoker isn’t the worst for nostalgia’s sake. But if you’re looking for a good coffee it isn’t the best. And even though it was a slow, relaxed morning, the staff wasn’t particularly friendly. Still worth it for those pastries though!
