5/ 5

The room was clean and well furnished with a view down through the trees to the floating harbour and over the buildings opposite to the cathedral. Run was very warm but it was too noisy to have the windows open at night due to people outside and whilst the air con unit did blow cold air it was really quite noisy with a rattle when the fan was going, so I didn't get a great night's sleep. Food in the restaurant was excellent and staff were friendly. I ate there as part of a large group in the evening and the food was really first class. Breakfast the following day was also good, it was a help yourself buffet but everything was really fresh and delicious, including the hot food.

Let’s get the good bits out of the way. Hotel is clean, nice, good location, great staff. Why it got 1 star. Don’t stay here on a Friday if you have plans for early on Saturday. We faced the dock areas, all I could hear until 2 am was the bass vibrating through my pillow from the clubs opposite. Great if your out on the beer, I wasn’t. Make sure you insist on a quiet room if your staying the weekend and want some Sleep. Weekend ruined.

Rooms are dated but spacious. Surprisingly enough they still have smoking rooms and they had checked me in one of those which was quite smelly and annoying. It was cold weather in the winter and the only heating that I got was an A/C which was upsetting as it easily gets the room very dry. The view was good enough and the facilities are just good.

5/ 5

It was the first hotel we have stayed in in the UK, and to be honest, it was such a great experience. The location is so lovely, and there is a private car park next to the hotel. The rooms are very modern and clean. The hotel staffs are so kind and friendly. I would like to thank Christin and Jose (forgive me if I mistyped your names:), who might be the most helpful people we have seen. They did their best while we stayed there. If you want to have a great time, you must stay at this hotel, not anywhere else—greetings from Turkey.

Lovely venue ... banqueting service fab, fab, fab and bar not too expensive either. Red wine was around £22 for 2 bottles of Merlot. Cloakroom excellent and ample car parking makes life easier especially if you remember to get a discount voucher from the bar.

Was expecting much more considering we paid £195 for our Saturday night stay. Room was dated and bathroom very small. Breakfast was very nice and staff were friendly. We had to pay £12 every time left the car park which wasn't ideal.
