We arrived without a reservation to a busy restaurant but the staff managed to make room for us. We ordered a cocktail and a burger each. I ordered the the made in Japan cocktail, which had a nice citrus flavour but lacked in whisky for my taste. My girlfriend ordered a raspberry and ginger beer mocktail which had a sharp initial taste and a sweet ginger beer finish. The chicken burger was okay, a little dry and not very crispy, but the beef burger was absolutely delicious. The meal and drinks were more expensive than I'd have liked for their quality, but it was a good time and it's a lovely place worth spending an hour enjoying the food and drink.

My girlfriend went on her first date with her ex here. We went for my birthday and sat outside in the garden, it was a gorgeous sun trap. The staff were helpful too, then my table sang happy birthday to me and I was thrilled and embarrassed.

I asked for a saucy chicken burger, which turned out to have a wee bit of mayo and warm grated carrot salad on it. The Rosemary chips wasn't warm. The overall experience was just average.

Pretty good. Food nice, beers very good, service very good. Shame they allow smoking in the garden area as that's pretty grim.
