The Architect cambridge

Not quite as good as it used to be. Less choice of beer on draft and service not as cheerful. Also they only have one pair of comfy sofas which are usually occupied. The rest of the furniture reminds me of eating in a canteen, especially with the over bright lighting, definitely not a pub ambient.

I thought their menu was a little limited in terms of variety, but I really liked how it was set up. We came for dinner and essentially, the menu is split up into columns and you pick one item from each column, which then is combined to create your plate. My husband got the chicken pie insists that that was the best pie he's ever had! He and his friend also had a Scotch Egg and they RAVED about it for the next few days after our visit. The food smelled/looked so good when it came out that I didn't even get to take a picture for this review before diving in (I got the steak pie, mash, onion rings, chicken/thyme sauce, and a brownie).

Clean and nice. we had the opportunity to eat here and we didn't regret the choice.

The pub looks pretty cool, had a nice and tasty beetroot-mushroom pie. They serve lunch until 5 and pies and fish at all times which came in really handy as the other pubs around didn't serve food at the time (4PM).

Service was outstanding, and the food was to die for. Went for the vegan Fish and chips with ‘Tartar sauce’ and samphire 👌🏻. If ever I’m back in Cambridge I’ll definitely be back. Great job guys

Just came to pick up fish n chips. Very delicious. Tempura battered fish and the chips were just grand. Had winter peas on the side. I should’ve adjusted my day to eat inside instead of taking it home - it would’ve been so much better right out of the kitchen. Deeeeelicious

Brilliant. Really, really enjoyable. Options for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. Happy to tweak the menu for our needs. Really helpful staff. The meals were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Good service, excellent non-meat choices on the menu too, even on a Sunday!
