Thai Square newcastle

Ordered Pad Thai with chicken medium hot, thought that would be hard for a Thai restaurant to mess up. The meal was so icky sweet I could taste nothing else at all and the chicken was tough and dried up.

Have just had a rather unpleasant experience at this restaurant. Food was ok. We brought our own wine and nowhere on the menu did it state that corkage would be charged. Got to the end of the meal, went to pay only to find corkage of $3.00 per person even though we served ourselves. We were also asked to pay another 50c for the plastic take away container. I would not have a problem if these charges were clearly printed on the menu and you had knowledge of these from the start. Just another gouge at your money. ...and in the cheapest glasses money could buy!

I ordered from ThaiSquare for dinner tonight, and I feel really mixed about it. The curry puffs were great, and I enjoyed the flavour of the massaman beef curry, but unfortunately the chunks of potato were hard and WAY under cooked. Very strange and disappointing since the beef was tender and falling apart. It really threw out the balance.

Exceptionally delicious. Chicken Pad Thai with extra chili was amazing and the Red Duck Curry was the absolute best. Good price, good location, huge portions, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Just had a meal at Thai Square. Service excellent however simple pad Thai was burnt the chef was told but not even an apology

Always like this place good lunch menu. Reasonable price, and tasty, reckon it is good value

Stumbled across this place for the first time after playing golf at Toronto Golf Club. Hands down, best Tom Kha soup I've ever had! And I've been to more than 30+ Thai restaurants in my life. Absolutely perfect 10/10. Pity I live so far away, If I lived closer, I'd go more often.

Had dinner last night with my friends. Bestest Thai food in NSW so far. Best part was service. Awesome service and nice ambiance. Thanks to her smile that made our night and dinner amazing. Would love to visit again and again.
