Teuchters is located at 26 William St, Edinburgh EH7 3NH, UK, we aim to offer all our customers a great experience with Teuchters and we would be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

whilst working at the bank hotel on the royal mile, peter knight of halkirk & john tindal of airlie came up with the concept of “a room in…” bistro. they envisioned a place serving fantastic food without the hindrance of paying a fortune for wine or exorbitant corkage. a place where people would feel instantly relaxed and at home, whatever the occasion.

Great place to spend a couple of hours for a couple of beers, interior is very quirky with a great choice of craft beers and plenty Whisky. Didn't try the food but it did look tasty so I will try on my next visit then I have no doubt it will be 5 stars. All this backed up by polite knowledgeable staff.

Since the pandemic some things have changed: There is open seating with strict rules regarding masks , seating and track and trace, but in all important ways, Teuchters is as I wrote 6 years ago: This is my local and one of the best features of where I live. Friendly even when the place is teeming with rugby supporters who didn't just win, it is a well-run house. Whisky choices are more than ample and interesting. Wine choices are also good. Mug menu does the trick when hungry. I go there to watch Wimbledon, but also to read. Friends from all over the world remember when they've been to Teuchter's. The owners and staff are great people and great neighbours. it's just my favourite pub in Edinburgh and a real blessing to have them open once again!.
