This feels more like a mini supermarket. It's a lot bigger than most Tesco Metros. Has multi levels to it First level features fruit, drinks, ready meals, sandwiches, cigarettes etc Second level has games, drinks, pharmaceuticals etc. Staff are really friendly and I like how you can quickly pop in get your things and go. It also opens really early in the morning and closes late at night.

This Tesco is in an convenient location right on Manchesters main shopping street. Its actually bigger than it looks as it has two floors and a good varied selection. Theres is a large grab and go section, I always call in for sushi! There are lots of self service tills which I prefer and a few with staff, every time I have been during a weekday it has been rather quiet so no ques.

A bit annoying really - especially the layout. If you want to go downstairs after visiting the ground floor, you have to pass the pay check and then you'll be able to go. One suggestion - first go to the downstairs and then up - so you can buy everything in 1 go

This was a Tesco Metro store and has now been rebranded as Tesco Express. Prices have shot up, very few offers and empty shelves. There are no shortage of Tesco Express stores in Manchester city centre, adding another one seems a big mistake. When it was a Metro, I shopped there simply because it had a different range and pricing structure than Tesco Express. I will mainly be shopping elsewhere.
