I've been a client of TaxAssist Leeds (Horsforth) for almost 10 years and have found them to be friendly, professional and excellent value for money. They've been able to give advice on a wide range of financial matters, both for my business and for me personally and I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

In November It will have been 10 years since i have been self employed, and in that entire time i have been with the TaxAssist team in Horsforth. I would highly recomend to anyone starting out in the freelance world (which can be really intimidating at times) to get yourself an accountant. It saves you so much headache, especially if all you want to do is concentrate on your work. And if you're looking for an accountant, I can't recomend these guys enough. Paperwork is not my strong point, and i can be REALLY disorganised (especially during the busy months). But Will and the team are always on hand with any advice should you need it, and more importantly they are really clear when explaining certain processes that can seem extremerly complex to us mere mortals. When we have our annual meetings to go through the self assesment they are always kind and personable, and you're not just treated as a number. They do really care. They don't make you feel small when you have simple questions. When they chase you (which all accountants have to do) they are curteous and patient with you. They understand that you are busy. They just want to help. And I can't thank them enough for that. I'm sure i have been an irritating client at times, but they never let on. That is the personification of professionalism. When I've needed any info sending over (like for mortgage or banking purposes) they are speedy and professional. It made the process so smooth. When we made the inevitable move to Quickbooks (which i LOVE btw) they set up training days so you can get the most out of the process. Uploading pics of receipts, seeing graphs of your past income and keeping up to date with your finances. It was brilliant. Finding a good accountant is the same as finding a good garage, you start to realise that trust and professionalism can be tricky to find if it's an area you've never ventured into before. But when you find it, they're worth their weight in gold.

An extremely high quality and professional service. Excellent value for money too. Whilst William's leadership is very important in creating the right culture, the team consists of lots of expertise so you will be in safe hands whoever you deal with at the office. All the staff are approachable too so the atmosphere is very welcoming. Have been using TaxAssist since 2004.
