Good luck getting an appointment, been trying to get one for my mother who's is agony with her fingers and was ringing for an hour from 2pm and they finally answer at 3pm only to say that all appointments are gone and to try again the next day! Receptionist was very flippant about it and more concerned about my phone echoing on her side expecting me to do something about it (last time I checked I dont work for BT) you may have better luck if your dieing.

As a regular I have plenty of experience of the service. Whilst I think things could be better I think the poor ladies on the front desk have had a lot of grief. I have witnessed some appalling behaviour towards them on several occasions and unlike I would have been they dealt with these obnoxious patients with a great deal of professionalism. Its not perfect in light of the pandemic but its something we have to put up with until things go back to a more normal way of life.

I've had many run ins with the staff , especially the manager who's arrogant and rude as are reception , I've complained and been told go to another practice ,I've had no support from my gps at all through a complex illness, they don't careless about mental health patients and I'd be dead if I'd not argued with a gp to get bloods done ,and only a hospital consultant has looked into things and helped ,they remove things from prescription don't do them..and I dont know if people are aware when they do e consult the reception look at them and decide what the Dr's see and reply to,with the reception sending back replies ,shocking

Receptionists are friendly, helpful, smiling, can't do enough for you. Then the dream ended and I woke and realised I was standing in front of a rude, unhelpful, receptionist with the biggest couldnt care less attitude I have ever come across. Love...you're dealing with people who are poorly, feeling unwell and not at their best. Show some compassion for goodness sake. Or get a job on a check out in a shop. Or perhaps not. You'll still be dealing with the poor general public at the receiving end of your attitudes and rudeness.

I find the receptionists’ attitude and manner appalling and always have done, pre-pandemic. During the lockdown my husband wrote and complained that they were deciding what was urgent and what was not - with no medical knowledge. The doctor did not even acknowledge this concern. I’m interested to know if the surgery bothers to read these reviews. I have tried this week several times to call and make an appointment with no success. I resorted to an online consultation and will see if there is a reply.
