Taj Tandoori cambridge

We've been twice now and the food is out of this world. Chicken 65 is awesome and so is the mixed grill. I always have a curry too and they were both delicious. The staff is so friendly and the decor in the main hall is beautiful.

Delicious meal! It took a little while to come out, but it was fantastic! The waiter was so nice and charismatic, I couldn't help but listen to him talking with other tables, and I was very impressed with how well he could read the vibe. Great service, delicious food, but remember to bring your own wine/beer!

We live in Cambridge one year and we couldn't find a better place with exceptional food like this one and especially Indian. We come back here almost every week. If you want delicious, fresh Indian food with a great hospitality then this is the place you have to go to. You will be extremely welcome here and the owner will treat you as you are part of a family.

Excellent restaurant which has stood the test of time. Remember coming here many (15+) years ago so decided to try it out again. Not disappointed - excellent food, prices and service.

Outstanding Indian food at great value prices. Refined without being fussy, and bursting with flavour. Probably the best Indian food I have ever eaten!

Had a lovely time here! The food is authentic and spicy and has a range of experimental dishes, enough to keep you coming back. Portion sizes are decent too and it’s great value for money! The owner gave us suggestions too which we appreciated a lot! 😊

I took my friend here for a last minute tea before a film the other day, he had never been before and couldn’t understand why! Food is absolutely beautiful every time, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and always spotless, and the staff make you feel like family. Never experienced service like it! Will always be my favourite go to place in Cambridge!

Excellent food! I discovered this place the first night I arrived in Cambridge and didn't expect it could be so delicious. The staff is also really friendly and the owner could help you to choose the perfect dish based on your tastes. I will definitely be back!

What a great find! We’ve travelled up from Kent for the weekend so don’t know the area at all. No clue where might be good (or one to avoid). Taj Tandoori was SO GOOD!! Wood 100% come back if ever we are back in the area. Next time I’ll bring a beer though :-)

I think we may have just been unlucky on a busy night, however our order was lost and we were left sitting at the table for a while until noticed. The staff however were brilliant and very apologetic, and poppadoms were on the house as a result. Lovely atmosphere also. Starters were delicious, but was a little disappointed with my curry, as it was slightly watery. Hoping to give this restaurant another try in the near future, because as mentioned, just seemed like a bad day at the office.
