To LifeOfNashW So sorry you have such a low opinion of us, but I would like to question a few things you have brought up. As to lack of people skills, we have been in the Post Office business for over thirty years. Therefore, I think our people skills are quite reasonable, but quite clearly not as good as yours? As to not making in life, we do quite well. I have a few properties, a lovely car and go on holiday often. So I think that quantifies as "making it". As to your comment about a "chip on a shoulder", I would like you to ask our customers (the majority) would disagree. Furthermore, regarding your comment about the "young girl", who is probably older and maturer than you. She is actually a martial arts teacher. (So don't listen to rumours). About your comment of missing parcels and overcharging you. I believe your very wrong on both, as we have to comply with Post Office rules and regulations. If you don't agree with this, I will happily supply you with a contact number so you can check that franked mail has to be in date or it will not be delivered by the Royal Mail. Lastly, as to your "Morons'" comment we believe this especially rude from someone who does not know us. I do not believe anything you do or say will put us out of business. I think you should choose your words more carefully in future, as we are not morons and we did not insult you. All the best in your future.

Young lady is usually nice, however the older lady seems to not give anyone any form of friendliness unless she knows you or you are under the age of 40, unfortunately I am neither so I can’t possibly give higher than a 2. never really feel welcome unless the younger lady is around (the extra star is for her). Been for lunch a couple of times too, but one time out me off while my girlfriend and I were waiting for half hour like lemons as ‘the usuals’ came in and were served instantly ahead of us, so haven’t bothered since then really, it was actually a bit humiliating, gave me League Of Gentleman vibes. Have no experience with the postmaster so can’t comment further

Most god awful excuse for a post office. They will do absolutely anything to get out of doing any work, very very rude and completely unhelpful. Won’t bother going there again.

I have never posted a negative review until now. During every visit I have made here over the last 10 years l have found the staff to be rude and dismissive. So much so I stopped using this post office a couple of years ago and would travel. But my sister organised for a parent yo be delivered using parcel force online. When I arrived they took one look and said they couldn't take it, despite it being pre paid for that post office. Dreadful manner, dreadful service.

I have never had any issue with the post office side of the shop. They have always been friendly to me and helpful. Other reviewers may have got them on a bad day. They also sell hot food which I have never experienced myself. The downfall of that is the smell and it sticks to your clothes after. I think they need better extraction because 1 minute in the shop and I can smell chips or oil on your clothing. We have also purchased birthday cards that smell of food also. Not very attractive and as I said I think it needs looking at.

I try to avoid this post office at all costs, despite it being closest to my home, it having parking, and me using the shop opposite weekly. If I'm honest, I'd really quite like the current administration's tender/franchise/occupancy to be reviewed. Every time I give it a chance, there is some soft of issue, either born out of ignorance of the staff, or just plain laziness. Staff refuse service or provide incorrect advice, despite being faced with online official Royal Mail/Post Office guidance. It can become a little confrontational at times, with the ultimate line being that the staff default to their "right to refuse" stance. I'd say the numerous and longstanding cases of incorrect advice, overcharging, failing to facilitate basic requests that other Post Offices offer as standard, combined with the refusal to learn is at worst becoming tantamount to fraud and at best, abysmal customer service.
