In a crowded market this place is a pretty good garden centre. Big range of plants and accessories with some attention to sensible pricing and items reduced too. A very spacious and pleasant cafe too with reasonable prices. Slightly suffers from being visited by coach parties: expect large numbers of complaining elderly people.

This is the first garden centre in the UK. It is of a decent size and the quality of plants are good. Staff are approachable, friendly and informative. Upstairs they sell crafting materials. There is a lovely cafe with seating outside as well as inside. The toilets are clean. Also to be found is an aquatic centre for all your pond needs. I recommend you visit this on a week day rather than the weekend as it gets very crowded. Fish and plants are of good quality. It is wheelchair accessible. Nearest overground stations are Brentford and Syon Lane. And it is situated in the grounds of Syon House and Gardens which are well worth viewing. Parking is free. Nearest bus stops are the 267 and 237 at the end of the alleyway. Nice place to spend time at.

The garden centre & cafe are nice places to visit, some of the staff are very knowledgeable & helpful, others less so.Where this garden centre falls down badly is,they just don't answer their phones & they don't provide a delivery service unless you spend £150.Not all of us have cars,& they are costing themselves money & customer goodwill in both cases.

It may be good -I’ll neverknow! As John Vivian reported 8 months ago, they don’t answer their phone. As I’m coming a distance I need to know whether I’m wasting my time. Are they in business indeed!

It's a huge improvement since reopening as Hillier. Glad to see some if the incredibly helpful staff have remained, they really are a credit. I particularly like the new shop and Wyndham butcher. It's a bit like entering a 'best of food festivals' zone. If I had one grumble, it would be the coffee shop - the coffee was more or less undrinkable.

This is under fairly new management and is a pretty smart garden centre. It has two cafés, one of which is in what must have been stables at one point in its history. Nice!

5/ 5

The Courtyard restaurant is brilliant, the fish finger sandwich was on another level like something that's could be twice the price elsewhere. The service was also genuinely friendly, natural and everyone was lovely. The setting is really nice with trees around where you sit and nicely done plants on the outside. It's also really clean and tidy. Parasols on the tables would be a nice addition and I was amazed how how they didn't seem to have any controls or payment systems with the serving staff, to stop people walking out and not paying the bill. These are just minor recommendations and this place is a definite five stars.
