All staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered. Thank you for all your help in enabling me to purchase my family home. Very disappointing service. They left everything to the last minute and you would need to quickly get things together as there was no communication before a deadline you were unaware of. Chasing me for information I have already sent multiple times. Difficult to get a call back, I would need to ring and send multiple emails to get any reply. The manager rang me and very rude on the phone kept trying to talk over me and would not listen to concerns I was raising about the service. Would not recommend.

Susan Cotter & Co were instructed to deal with all the legal aspect of buying a home, to be honest I wish I walked away. Susan Cotter & Co have the worse client representation ethos I have ever seen from a legal firm. Their communication throughout is abysmal and when you challenge their poor communication you are patronised, condescended and belittled by a iron clad Susan Cotter who berates you, shouts at you and makes you feel they are doing you a favour and “if you don’t like it Leave!” [QUOTE] My observations made me realise that every single person working there will do anything to avoid being at fault to avoid the wrath of Susan Cotter. They are not receptive to any sort of feedback and immediately play the blame game and have no accountability whatsoever, where the client is ALWAYS wrong. If you have a law degree then use Susan Cotter & Co as you will get on perfectly, if you don’t avoid because the legal understanding this solicitors expects you to have as a client is unreachable with a expectation of ‘the client should know.’ I cannot believe such a large organisation like Persimmon are recommending solicitors with such poor status without so much as a website to determine suitability. Ceri is Susan’s assistant and her condescending and belittling tone is something from schooling in the 1980s and a push into the 21st century would be considered a good step for this solicitor to take. Just avoid, shop around and find a solicitors that will support, guide and manage your expectations in an already extremely stressful situation.

Im told Susan Cotter Co are exceptionally rude and unhelpful, that they leave everything till the last minute and expect "first time buyers" to be able to magic documents up instantly. That after 9 months with a chain-free property, everything fell through because she kept pushing back the exchange of contracts. I've heard on the grape vine they don't have a soul and that was from a ginger

Unbelievably shocking. Extremely rude and unprofessional. For somebody to lose the home that they were purchasing because the solicitors were too busy, after being told that the vendor will not wait is heartbreaking. They do not answer your calls or return your call. Very unprofessional. Also are rude and ignorant to their clients. Obviously they don't treat all clients the same as there are some good reviews but a lot of very negative feedback.

Absolutely shocking service from this company I would stay well away , they do not answer your telephone calls ,they never ring you back you are constantly ringing them , it took me twice as long to get what details and updates from them , people has mentioned the parking well there is no where to park either . The lady at the front desk look like she was board out of her mind on her own phone unprofessional, I wasn’t aloud to have a word with any member of staff when called into the place .so back on the phone I was once again .Please people do your homework before hand wish I had .
