An excellent sight for a peaceful stay. The owner very helpfully shifted things around to enable us to stay for 3 nights when the site was full. The view is beautiful as is the walk to the local pub. Very friendly site and even when full did not feel crowded. There are rules but these help to maintain the relaxing nature of the site. Will definitely book again.

A beautifully maintained campsite set in glorious countryside within easy reach of the beautiful city of Salisbury. Flat, well spaced allocated pitches which are all in easy reach of the spotlessly clean showers and toilets. A very, very peaceful site, with very friendly, highly efficient owners.

After one day had I wrote a review I possibly wouldn’t have given it the four stars. Let’s be clear here the four stars is being a bit generous if I’m honest. I’ll start with the good stuff. It’s very quiet very secluded and pretty well maintained and the owners are pretty friendly too. If you want a site that has absolutely nothing to do on it then this is it. With that comes the type of people who want peace and quiet. The biggest let down to the site is the showers and toilets. One male and one female shower and 2 toilets for male and 2 for female in my opinion is not enough for a site of this size. I counted 22 pitches and about 60 people. That I’m sorry is too many for one tiny block. On the positive side as much as the toilet/shower block did need some work done what was there was kept clean and tidy. At £20 a night with hook up it’s about on the money too.

Lovely flat grass site, with 16 amp electric. Toilet and shower facilities. Away from any road noise. Beautiful views across the countryside. Fantastic tracks/walks for the dog and cyclists. Salisbury a short drive away. Would love to say more but our dog had an accident which involved an emergency vet visit so we didn't get to enjoy our break. (No fault of the site). The owners were most helpful. Will definitely be back next year and hopefully get to enjoy our stay a bit longer than 6 hours.

Summerlands is an understated delight. Lovingly cared for and meticulously clean the site is peaceful and has wonderful distant views with a Wessex atmosphere. Nearby Whitsbury has a great pub, The Cartwheel, with super food and lovely local ale. Thank you Summerlands, for a lovely place.

Really lovely campsite. We phoned really late under really difficult circumstances after a really stressful, unpredicted day and the lovely lady over the phone allowed us to come in and park our camper up safe for the night. She followed us up to the pitch in the dark to make sure we were set and showed us the electric. Really impressed with the facilities, really clean and well kept. Beautiful campsite, really quiet with beautiful views too.
