Terrific vets, couldn't rate higher for bird owners to visit! After hours service is there for people as well which is how we discovered the place and the vet was super friendly and helpful in explaining everything to us despite the fact we obviously pulled him out of his warm house on a cold night around dinner time, if he was bothered he didn't let on. 20/10.

Shop around , pricing is ridiculous and if you are not 100% happy with treatment get a second opinion. On the advice of this hospital and their quoted fees on a wrongly diagnosed problem we nearly had our best mate ( Rottweiler ) put to sleep.we then Got a second opinion and found out in five mins what the problem was and how common it actually is ( second vet couldn’t understand how any vet would have gotten such a common problem wrong) . Turns out for a fraction of what was quoted here , we ended up having our big boy as good as new in 2 weeks and hoping for many more happy years with him now .

Great care. They really worked around us to help our dog get seen. When we couldn’t be there in person they did a phone consult.

The nurses are amazing and really seemed to care about my rabbit, I only have good things to say about the staff! The vet was running late so I received a voucher for a free coffee down the street which was really lovely. Unfortunately I was left feeling disappointed with the vet treatment though. My bun has a complicated medical history and after a short consult for a bout of stasis I was told he had abnormal kidneys and due to his health condition should be put down. I’m not sure if the vet was frustrated or rushed that day but she was quite abrasive and I left feeling shaken and upset. I decided to get a second opinion at a different exotics vet where they asked to see his full medical history. We were there for an hour while they checked him and ran blood tests and not once did they mention euthanasia. The blood test showed his kidneys were fine! I’m glad I decided not to listen to the vet from Sugarloaf as he’s improved massively. Rabbits can be difficult patients and the clinic may have just been busy that day as I’ve heard mostly good things about Sugarloaf, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience.
