Subway newcastle

We arrived at lunchtime on a Saturday, with a large festival (the living smart festival) on up the road. It was packed people were basically lined out the door! But, we wanted Subway and had no where else to be, so we decided to wait. The staff we rushed off their feet, but seemed pleasant enough. The food was fresh and well made, not fast but good! I will be back again!

Weren’t friendly at all !asked what I wanted eventually, but stood there and 2 others came inbehind me and they got a lovely hi how are you !! and then the manager served them and started making there order before mine ! If at all that is!! cos I left ! Been to this store before don’t recommend it unless your a favourite client of boss

Foods fine but the owner is terrible to his staff. There was a new girl working and he was telling other people he was serving that he was gonna loose money today because of her. Won’t ever go back just because of that owner. No excuses for treating his staff this way.

Staff always seem sad and overworked. One night driving home, saw someone getting out at like 8:30 even though they're supposed to close at 7ish. Also, never seen 2 workers in the building at the same time, so I'd assume people work alone which must really suck, unless (who I can assume is) the manager is there. Heard him yelling at people before, too. If you want subway, the next closest one is at 393 Macquarie road, and suggest you would give your money to them over this one.

Only had the choice of two 6" subs or wraps because the other bread hadn't been baked yet. The wraps we did have fell apart because of too much filling. Staff were nice enough but considering the lack of choice we were given they were not apologetic

They accepted menulog order right before they close, and we waited for more than an hour, left us with no food delivered at all eventually. Please reconsider knowing that you will be closing soon before accepting an order.

Stood at the counter for 5 minutes. Didn't see one employee. Left hungry

Cleanest subway in Newcastle, cheapest in Newcastle as well. Best trained staff, and, contrary to other reviews, the owner is always a friendly person who lightens the mood by bantering with his employees. I've been going there for 3 years and I wont stop going yet!
