SUBWAY Leeds – Elland Road leeds

The food was a pleasant experience, however the girl serving had the personality of a potato, as if she had died behind the eyes. Cracking a smile may have resulted in the world ending. Scatters the lettuce magnificently but don't try and strike up any conversation, you'll be bitterly disappointed.

Steak and cheese sub was bland, tasted of nothing and the steak was so fine it was practically mince. Service was slow but it was the manager's fault not the staff. Haven't been to Subway for years, now I remember why! UPDATE - In response to Subway's response to my review, I never said that the steak wasn't steak, I said that it had been chooped so fine it was practically mince. In fact, mince would have had a better texture.. this steak was so fine that in parts the texture was like a paste. Not pleasant whichever way you want to cut it. I received no peppers, and wouldn't have had onions too had I not asked for them specifically (they were put on afterwards, raw). None of this addresses the lack of any seasoning at all, and therefore, the complete lack of flavour. It could have been fillet steak.. it would still have tasted of very little without seasoning. It also doesn't address the poor level of service and the fact that the manager seems to think his staff's time is better spent doing something other than serving customers.

Place filthy. Unclean Sandwich preparation area. Didn't clean hands after handling money. Staff preferred to chat than clean up day's spillages. Ignores feedback. Give out 2for1 vouchers as incentives but refuse to accept them. Lots of great subway stores but avoid this one.

Vegan wrap, you are supposed to get 2 patties plus guacamole. Only put 1 in and no guacamole. Really tight with the salad. Couldn't finish it as it was just the wrap. Wont be going back. Plus loads of rubbish outside that's obviously been there a while.

The staff could be a bit more welcoming. The food preparation was quick. Although the place is kept clean, the toilet could be improved upon on, dodgy taps and an unpleasant urinal smell lingers in the air.

Avoid. A sandwich shouldn’t be this messy to eat. I am under the impression the sauce goes inside the sandwich 🤷‍♂️ It was almost as snotty as the staff… who whilst serving were in the the act of wiping ones snotty nose on their sleeves. Definitely the worst subway I’ve been to. Would avoid.

The photo shown is clearly not the relevant store.. it's a good store, has a customer toilet, and the food at Subway is always good.
