Terrible experience. We made a booking in advance after calling a staff about it. The staff had not mentioned about the age restriction, we even mentioned we were below 18 years old yet she did not say anything about it. It is understandable that certain hotels do not allow people of ages 18 and below to have a staycation however we were not informed earlier about it. When we got to the hotel, they rudely made us leave the premises, leaving us having to find other options.

Overall a clean and nice place! There’s only one issue is that I was not informed that my room won’t have a bathtub as shown in my booking...called to check and staff just said that it’s subjected to availability which I understand but I paid for the room with a bathtub and I expect at least to be informed that my room does not have a bathtub. Quite disappointed 😞

This hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, beside Bencoolen Mrt, near to Bras Basah Mrt and walking distance to City Hall and Dhoby Ghaut Mrt stations. I usually visit the restaurant as my colleagues preferred to go there. Well, the food was not to my liking initially but after months of improvement, I could tell that their food has improved quite a lot though the price stays very affordable for a hotel. I now enjoyed their food and miss it in particular their fish and chips!

Location, room and fee is fine. I also find cleaning to be ok. I miss a pool. To my surprise the reception charge for every little service, i.e calling a taxi, receiving take-away etc. It is like they decide their own tip money.

The hotel is so run down, smelly and dirty. And top of that, the hotel room itself doesn't look like it has really been cleaned, especially judging by the bedsheet and bathroom. And dont even get me started on the bathtub in the toilet. Its a safety hazard. Ive been to other hotels which has bathtub but i have never once even slipped and fell while i was in the bathtub trying to shower. The bathtub is so so slippery even before it was wet. So that tells u alot. And the bathtub was literally falling apart too. Luckily i had only minor injuries and didn't hit my head when i fell. The hotel management seriously need to do something to upgrade it so that its not so much of a safety hazard. I really didn't enjoy my stay in this hotel. Would never come back here again.
