Walk-in Centre but too busy to able to see me.. sigh. Had already been told I had to wait a month to be able to see my GP. This is the state of our wonderful NHS after years of under-funding.

My first experience. Comparable with Mainland China. But then, I think I prefer China. In China you get a doctor to look after you, here it's a nurse. No triage nurse, no tests, no blood, no technology, except a PC to take notes. And temperature taken. If you can walk I wouldn't bother. It's warm in there, and they have a toilet. Best advice: never get ill. Do anything not to get ill.

I was nervous about going to the walk-in centre after seeing the bad reviews. The security person was very unhelpful and pretended we weren’t there, he didn’t even make eye contact with us. That was a bad start, but once we got the level 1 it was a very different story. From the lift door opening to us getting back in the lift after seeing a doctor was just 15 minutes. Prescription in hand. I’d recommend going when it’s quiet, not sure what it would be like at peak times.

After all this time in lock down, it was fantastic to see a doctor face to face. She was lovely, I felt listened to and treat with respect. We even had a bit of a laugh, which is a tonic in itself. Thank you.

Because I didn’t have a GP registration and I got muscle sprains and inflammation in my leg at work. There was no other solution, I went to the walk in center. They applied after an extremely cumbersome and complicated application. After a month's break, the problem came out again. I already had a registration by then, but since the GP wasn’t picked up the phone all day and my leg hurt a lot, I went to the emergency clinic again. At the front desk, he was literally thrown out in the (Mr.) outrageous style. He didn't even listen. Yet the doctor said earlier that if I still had a problem, I should go back. Well the receptionist imagines a lot about you! Unsuitable for your job! If I knew where to complain, I would.
