Stockland Glendale Shopping Centre newcastle

I enjoy shopping at Glendale as it has a nice variety of shops, but isn’t as busy as other major shopping centres in the area. However I refuse to do my grocery shopping at Glendale because the paths are all on a sideways slope which makes pushing a trolley on them to get back to your car an absolutely nightmare. The slope isn’t exactly visible to the eye, but you definitely feel it when pushing a trolley.

Single level semi donut shaped retail complex with ample parking in the center! Multiple adjoining and semi adjoining big name and small time retailers to meet every need along with great food and state of the art cinema complex. Yes, yes and yes for a relaxed shopping experience.

Hired a mobility scooter and it was fabulous, and free for up to 3 hours, service centre very helpful and Located at Coles. Scooter was so easy to manoeuvre and operate. Will call in advance next time and book same as this centre is quite spread out.

A bit of a mission to get from the car park to the shops and it's outdoor undercover walk ways to every shop so wear something warm in winter and prepare to get a little wet if it's raining. Not for me. Try Charlestown square, undercover parking all in airconditioned comfort.

Great place as a one stop shop especially if you move your car. However at times very busy.

Only problem is no under cover parking in bad weather.
