Do not let your child come here……

This school is unprofessional and their pastoral care is terrible. They have nothing in place for children with ADHD or ASD other than punishment of constant detentions and suspensions which proves they cannot meet my child’s unmet needs. Constant battles which has literally taken over our lives with my son missing out on a huge amount of education and effecting his mental health. They just do not care. They also expect parents to drop everything to attend meetings all the time when no action is ever taken. My experience has been extremely stressful and my poor son has suffered and gained nothing but upset and severe low self esteem.

This School is terrible, I don't recommend it to anyone. As a student nearly finishing, there's constant fights and the teachers don't do anything about the bullying. I was told to kill myself by another student and the teachers made him look like the victim and that I was the bad guy. The student didn't even get punished for it like they said they would. Since my year group joined, the school has went downhill.

Not sure where i'd be now without the help of this school, always patient with me and helpful to students. Of course there are teachers in this school that you feel are just there to complain or pick on students but thats a very small percentage of them. This is now my second year of sixth form and i have had very little issues in the 7 years i've been here, i have all my GCSEs and i'm coming out with three A-Levels, this is a good school if you are willing to work hard and follow simple rules. I'd recommend this school to anyone considering it.

If I could give a '0' I would. This schools failings are too many to list on a Google review. The bullying culture is rife and not just restricted to students. All complaints are brushed under the carpet by the diocese. Please think twice before sending your child here.
