Amazing vets. Reassured me throughout my dogs spay surgery which I was nervous about. All the team were lovely and caring. Always have good experiences at this vet and my dog loves going. Received text messages through each step of my dogs surgery and as soon as she was awake and recovering I was made aware. She was able to come home by 12pm and I had only dropped her off at 8am. A few hours on and shes been trying to play a little and seems to be doing well. St Georges really make sure all bases are covered to minimise any risks when your furbaby needs surgery.

Every visit to St George's - mainly Bushbury but occasionally near Sainsburys for larger jobs - has been a pleasure. Probably more for me and my Inuit/Malamute team than the receptionists and vets !!! My two will only visit together, and have somewhat less than calm personalities, but they are dealt with patiently and investigated well - despite the fight they put up. All in all 5/5 for effort, friendliness and patience xx

I had a Jack Russell who developed mouth cancer a few months ago. Suddenly at the weekend he stopped eating and drinking and we knew this was not good. So on Sunday morning I rang them to book an appointment. This was the first time I'd been to this surgery. We were greeted by two lovely receptionist's who told us to take a seat and our vet would be out shortly. He came out within a minute. We went into the consulting room and the vet examined our beloved pet. It wasn't good news. The cancer had advanced and the vet spoke to us with empathy and we agreed it was time for him to leave the world. He took great care with Alfie. We stayed with him as he was put to rest and the vet apologized for our loss all the time we were there. He bought out a lovely blanket to wrap Alfie in as we wanted to take him home and bury him in the garden. I'm not sure which vet it was who delt with us and I can't really recognise him from the staff photos as he had a mask on, but he will know and remember us. He was 100% professional and treated us and our pet with all the care anyone could wish for. Thank you to everyone on that Sunday for all your help and care. ALFIE. RIP.

If I could give you zero stars I would!. We took our beautiful maisey to you 3 days ago all they cared about was the £190 consultation fee not that the fact our dog was ill and needed treatment! When seen the vet told my husband to wait to see our own vet Wednesday was given one sticky pad to cover a tumour that had broken through the skin was told it would be pointless to give our dog antibiotics so we left with no treatment for her that day. Today we had taken our lovely dog to our own vet (Cavan) and the vet was absolutely disgusted that she wasnt given NO antibiotics or NO pain relief they also said we shouldnt of covered the wound as advised by your incompetent vet. unfortunately we had to have a Beautiful girl put to rest. You can stick your 190 consultation fee where the sun doesnt shine your an absolute disgrace. The vet seen at your place was completely Negligent what a waste of money however it wasnt about the money it was about my dog been treated what ever the cost but you robbing swines took our money for practically NOTHING. YOU ALLOWED OUR DOG TO SUFFER FOR 3 DAYS. She wasnt just a dog She was our family. We will never forgive You.!We WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Took my cat at the night time as I saw that she was in pain and was struggling to walk & stand on back legs. Cat been checked and all I been told that everything is ok with my cat, vet decision was that the cat is stressed. Next day cat was still struggling decided to call my vet. After appointment there vet said that she had an injury, my cat had an injection and been given the pain relief to continue to give it at home. Now it’s all sorted but very disappointed with quality of St George’s you should be ashamed, very careless service, left my pet in pain… Also felt ripped off, for service I got.
