A little out of the way and it doesn't have the usual arrangements of the other colleges with courtyard in front of each building, so it takes a while to figure out where to walk. Walk deeper in and you will see a nice little orchard like garden with apple trees!

5/ 5

I would surely recommend it. One of the most international colleges of Cambridge having members from over 70 nationalities. It is predominantly for mature students who are pursuing masters or PhD. However, undergrads above 21 are also admitted. People are generally cool and down to earth. The ambience is quite low key but cosy at the same time. Food is great except for vegetarians like me. In fact, the formals of St. Edmund's are considered to be among the best in Cambridge due to its food and unlimited drinks. A serene library, a happening combination room, a rocking bar and a lovely football pitch are some of the added perks. It also has a gym, which despite being small, possesses basic equipment necessary for a decent workout. Staff is quite helpful and will try their best to resolve your queries/problems promptly - most of the times. It they don't, please assume that they have more urgent things to do.;0 Invest in a good bike and you are just 10 minutes away from the City Center. I personally loved being associated with this college and enjoyed my time thoroughly. Cheers and all the best !!
