It's not often that I'd give this store five stars as the staff have tended to be a tad surly and make you feel as though you're inconveniencing them when you ask whether they've got a pair in a size ten. So, what a pleasant surprise today to find the cashier polite and smiling, folding the clothes and even wishing us a nice rest of the day. Transaction 605253 and Operator 399993 in case management wish to take note.

After looking around I found a pair of trousers I liked. I looked for a changing room for a couple of minutes (no signage) and found them virtually behind the sales counter at the rear. They were locked and a sign said to see a member of staff to open changing room door. There was one member of staff visible behind the counter serving a queue with about 5 people. Put the trousers on the nearest rail and left. Won't bother returning.

I do feel sorry for the staff, they get blamed a lot, but I blame the management, get more staff in the store, also to many items in the store, its hard to walk around some days, with no more space on the shelves, just rails of clothes in the middle of the shop floor, there is some good prices, but hard to find anything.

I had a poor order of girls football trainers and gollie gloves online delivered which had obviously been Refurbished.... went to the closest store to me (Manchester Fort) staff were very apologetic, very helpful and exchanged items without a fuss. Even though they didn't have the exact gloves I ordered in stock, they gave me a superior alternative, only £2 (without charge) but that kind of thing really makes a difference. So thank you SD .
