Large retail store, footwear, clothing, sports material and accessories. Individual sections for various brands. Clean but not much space to walk around. It's quite cramped from rail to rail. Not much children's wear in here especially for girls (7-13).

Do not shop here if you can't get there at least half an hour before closing! Sports Direct need to take a good hard look at the ratings for the last few months. I've never written a google review in my life but felt so strongly about this one. Common theme coming through about turning people away, way before closing time and rude and abrupt staff. I arrived at 3:40pm, closing time was 4pm. Felt so sorry for the lady who had travelled from Sale and just needed to change size of school shoes she had bought. She was there five minutes before me but the store wasn't letting her in. Manager wouldn't attend to tell us the reason but shouted at the staff to 'just close the shutters'. Clearly an understaffed branch unable to cope with the volume of customers. Come on Sports Direct, this is unfair to staff and customers. To turn people away 15 minutes before closing would be disappointing but 25 minutes means you have a huge problem you're failing to address. JD Sports were so much more welcoming and friendly.
