I can not praise and recommend this hospital enough. The commitment to their patients is outstanding! From the reception personnel to the doctors, the Spires Dunedin team is amazing, very very helpful and highly efficient, professional and caring. I had an appointment at Clinic, and there was some waiting time to do the MRI. However, the staff apologised for the delay and kept me informed about what was happening. I was offered tea or coffee and treated with real care and thoughtfulness. The atmosphere in the clinic was also very calm. Since I needed all the paperwork to take with me abroad, I received a CD with the MRI results, the invoices per e-mail, and Dr. Rolton wrote a letter with a description of my condition for further analysis in my home country which was sent to me securely with a special encryption software. I live in Germany and have never had such an amazing treatment like here. Fantastic teamwork. Thank you.

Very frustrating experience today with Spire. Left my details, was promised a call back - It never came. Called back to be told everyone left at 4.30. It seems they do not want my business or my money. Hope you have deep pockets Spire Dunedin because a business which behaves like this does not stay a business for very long.

Very mixed experiences. A few years ago ended up in here for post MI care, and no complaints. Tried to book appointments recently and had dreadful customer service and attitude. I'll never use them again ...

Superb service, caring and attention to detail across all relevant departments whilst remaining professional throughout. Swift treatments, which are vital given the NHS backlog due to the ongoing Covid pandemic. Colorectal specialist surgeon Mr Dominic Coull and his team deserve special mention for their stellar service and care before and during my stay.

Awful !!! Been here three times and still none the wiser to what’s wrong with my arm. Travelled an hour for a blood test at the time they gave me only to find there was no one there to do the test. Also was crammed into the MRI machine despite numerous complaints that I was not comfortable leaving me with a dead arm for 3 weeks . 3 months have passed and still no results have been given to me or no plan going forward. Despite paying for private healthcare I’m now using the NHS as I’m now in a lot of pain. Can’t believe there laid back unprofessional approach . I feel really sorry for anyone who’s sent here because it’s the absolute worst. Scrapping the barrel is a term that fits . They do not care about you !

Massive problem with the reception I received at spire Dunedin paid in advance to see a private GP for my daughter but still wanted my card number when I questioned it was told incase my daughter needed other treatment (but I would be informed before it was taken) don't believe that for one minute. Stereotype comes to mind. Was told I could not go in with my daughter as I was suppose to let the matron know beforehand, could of told me that when I booked the appointment had to listen via my phone to the entire consultation as she was so nervous, even though she told me a lady was there with her daughter Could go on for ever but they don't deserve the review time . If I could give 0 I would

I would describe the 'Hospital' as not fit for purpose, inadequate buildings, inadequate parking and poor service. We had been seeing a consultant at another Hospital, but had to attend here for an Allergy test. The Parking was tight and full, we ask reception about parking options and were told to use the surrounding streets, which were also full. The buildings are cramped and old fashioned converted houses. Will not be returning to this location, found BMI options to be better and offering better services.
