Very helpful with picking glasses frames and actually give good advice on what suits face shape, rather than saying everything looks good. They are always positive and upbeat. Very easy also to book an appointment online! I rate 3 stars as the experiences I have had with the optometrists there have been sub-par unfortunately. One occurrence, I came in for an appointment as I had a concern about my vision, I was also having health problems at the time related to vision so was quite anxious/stressed about the situation as vision is such an important part of daily life. The optometrist was very dismissive and had told me to stop talking about my vision concerns and focus on the tests of the appointment and my regular vision. I wasn't there for a check up of my regular vision, I was there to check if there was anything wrong and I'd informed of my wishes about the appointment at the start of the visit. I had already a regular eye check-up earlier in the year. I was talked through my results at the end and told everything was normal which was such a relief and appreciated. But it was upsetting to feel that my situation was dismissed. Empathy is required to each person's situation. Wording is important for this, even something like "your situation sounds quite worrying, I appreciate the information you have told me about your vision. I just have to go through some regular checks and then we will discuss it further." Rather than telling someone to stop talking. Perhaps empathy and customer service training can be offered to staff. I won't be re-visiting again at all and plan to have future check ups with another optometrist. But I thank you for the good service I have had though from certain staff, I appreciate that very much.
