Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists – Hove brighton

I've never been into such a busy Specsavers but it sure was busy the day I had my appointment. Was called right on my appointment time and looked after by a very polite young man who took me through the tests. Once completed and all explained I was handed over to the optician who did further testing. As suspected I needed new glasses so went and picked frame. Then the lovely Liz told me I was getting varifocals which she explained, perhaps the optician should have done this. Anyway all good and new glasses arriving in a week. Great pleasant service. Always use Specsavers

Always good. Friendly staff. Good selection of frames. Sometimes it gets busy but they're are plenty of staff so even then you're not waiting long. Thorough eye tests as expected and good customer service. Flat disabled access and they will test in a downstairs room if you need it

Kept waiting for 30 minutes for a booked appointment. No apology for the delay or update. When asked they just said I was next in line. Team need some customer service training.

The optician was fine, but after your eyes are tested they are very pushy at trying to sell you glasses, coming at you with different types of offers and discounts. It was the same fast rehearsed talking spill coming out of all the salespeople, whilst grooming the customers to convert into money. They even forgot to complete the second part of my eye test that the optician personally told her to complete. My opinion, you be better off getting your eyes tested there and then going online to get your glasses with the prescription that the optician gives you. Remember you don't have to buy glasses there. Not even two pairs. Can you imagine if doctor's surgeries acted like that, they'd be struck off.

Absolutely terrible. I have suffered really badly. Make sure you ask for every option they will just try to get you to spend as much as possible. The staff after you see the optician are employed to extract as much as they can. They don't care if you can afford it or not. Even when you complain to the head office they send it through to the branch. They were very happy to sit me in a seat for 40 mins wait when we are all supposed to spend as little time as possible indoors. When I told them they should warn people so that they can leave and come back they looked at me as if I was stupid. They did not wipe the surface down when they told me to wait. its just money. I would never ever go in the door again of that branch. they also own the branch in Boundary toad I understand so if that's the same maybe give that a miss too. Recommendation to anyone is remember your the customer they are not qualified so the advice they give you is sales advice.

I bought a pair of converse prescription sunglasses and they fit perfectly and cut out most of the sunlight. Look super cool too. Check them out.

Had prescription sunglsses made there. Good service, and pleasant staff. Sunglasses good ,and im happy with everything.

Cannot fault the customer service. Steven was exceptionally helpful and friendly and advised me on everything I wanted to know. Very covid friendly too with high standard of hygiene throughout. This was my first visit and won't be my last. Really impressed!
