Went there to update me reading glasses! The student opticians were super helpful and informative. On par with the service I'd expect from back in Portland Oregon!

After having a bad experience with vision express I went to this spec-savers a few weeks ago with my mum and brother. My mum has always struggled to find plain squared frames. We actually found really nice frames for her at spec savers. Nick went above and beyond to help my mum. He was very nice and was patient, what a gentleman! The price was very reasonable and the lens and frames were delivered on time.

Had a prescription for the lenses first time there, and the doctor seen me was very nice, polite and accommodating. Been wearing contact lenses for 20 years, and last 10 exclusively from a certain brand, recommended by a doctor for the condition of my eye. Talked to this doctor and he agreed and prescribed the same brand and that first time everything went good and well - with minor issue about the customer service, especially when they hear you don't speak well English. Now, I went and renew my order for the lenses, and expected the same one, based on the previous experience. But, I got totally different one. When I pointed out, they said my doctor changed the prescription, despite that I didn't see a doctor and had previously the correct one. Again, pointed out that and the manager involved. He tried to convince me that the supplier got that one, that the packing is different but are the same one. And to top all that, in the end he told me that is the same brand but they just change name and packaging. At that point I stormed out, to avoid escalation. I was very angry. Yes I sound stupid when speaking English, but do not insult me with saying stuff like that. It's like giving me Galaxy instead of Lindt and telling me is the same chocolate, they just changed the name and packaging. Yes the brand is still the same and active and specsavers sell them online, no one changes his name and packaging just like that after 20 years and more of work. Ridiculous. Now I'm stuck with a product which use may or may not further damage my eye just because they didn't want to admit their mistake and to fix it. "Is the same brand but different packaging and name .... " still fuming.
