Had used the Dumbarton Specsavers for 14 years, however I am now disabled. This time I was treated so disgustingly dreadful that I considered getting the police involved however later decided to raise a legal case with my lawyer. Never will I enter that door again and they shall be hearing from my legal advisor and from the disablment government department. I was advised by a friend to try Specsavers in Byres Rd as they have a good reputation. I thought no way however on that advice I gave it a go. From the moment I walked into the place I was treated with absolute courtesy, lots of staff and all so friendly. Nervous after my Dumbarton Specsavers ordeal I was put at ease immediately. Different staff took me for various tests and each one very nice and professional. My disability was considered at every turn, and I was treated so well. Had some problems with my eyes (early Glaucoma and Cataracts) It was all explained the way forward, and if I asked again to explain it was done with absolute courtesy. I am 100% happy with Specsavers Byres Road and highly recommended this shop to everyone including the disabled who I can assure you will be treated with professional respect. I am further going to put forward a request that Dumbarton Specsavers staff each spend some time at the Byres Road shop to teach them how to run such a business and in a courteous and professional manner.

Terrible service. Requested a leg on a new pair of glasses be straightened and they instead twisted the frames at the nosepiece (despite my very clearly requesting they not do this). A supervisor then insisted this was their standard procedure for adjusting a bent leg. They were then unable to return the frames to their original state and instead twisted them further while attempting the request. Left the store as they clearly had no idea what they were doing and have sent an email to their complaints department instead.
