All the staff are friendly, welcoming, & experienced. The choice & range of spectacles cannot be beaten. However the waiting time in going through the process of seeing the optician, to choosing your glasses is very slow & they constantly seem to be running late. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for that fact.

Appalling level of customer service. After making my appointment for a regular sight test online, I was told I would have to wait 3 minutes to see the optitican. In fact I was kept waiting for an hour with no explanation and not even offered a seat for the first 50 minutes. When I eventually asked about the delay I was told the optician was just finishing with the previous client - no apology. When I finally saw the optician he informed me he had been on a lunch break! What was even worse was the poor and uncaring response to my complaint (emailed afterwards). No one bothered to email me back and apparently the company has no complaints procedure. When I managed to speak to someone on the phone, I was informed that the store were not prepared to do anything about my complaint. Not even refund the £25 I paid for the sight test. Evidently wasting customers' time and a complete disregard for their satisfaction is acceptable here. I won't be going there again and advise you not to either.

Barry was brilliant in the hearing department. I've tried boots and the NHS and the aids are great. Barry also helped me with the NHS referral process which he didn't need to do. Many thanks - much appreciated
