Southdown Fish Bar bath

Clean well run place. Welcoming staff. Out side the shop it may feel intimidating with lots of tough looking people hanging around. This place is serving it's locality well. I dare say, reduce your portion size! The bigger the portion, the more we eat. Their oil is fresh, the chips properly cooked. Well run place.

Old reheated potatoes and you have to wait awhile for them to partially warm them up on the up side small portions so not that many to throw away

Varied menu and big portions. Food was delicious and friendly service. It was busy when we visited and parking was difficult. Despite it being busy we were served quickly. We great value for money.

Lovely fish and chips. The portion size for the chips was massive. Fish wrapped separately from chips, batter was still crispy 😁 when got back.
