Took forever to collect my parcel as there only seemed to be one employee there so the same guy on the till had to go back and look for each parcel before returning to continue processing people, just terribly ineffective and run at the lowest possible cost at the expense of the customers, as is typical of public services that have been sold off to the private sector. To top it off I was subjected to listening to Coldplay while I queued!

Would give zero stars if possible… after having no post for almost 3 weeks, I went to the sorting

Would give zero stars if possible… after having no post for almost 3 weeks, I went to the sorting office to try and collect my post, to be told that it was out for delivery - 2 days later and I still have nothing!! It’s an absolute disgrace to just fob people off so close to Christmas when the post we are waiting on is for children! I understand staff shortages and delays due to illness, but NOTHING for 3 weeks is beyond a joke and to be lied to by staff who clearly don’t want to be there, when I’ve gone out of my way to travel there, to collect post that has been fully paid for by the senders, is an absolute DISGRACE! This needs sorting ASAP… as previous reviews have said, they never answer the phone - I’ve dialled the number over 100 times and not one answer! Frustrated is an understatement!!!

Our area of Stretford, Sandy Lane, has already had over two weeks without delivery of normal letter

1/ 5

Our area of Stretford, Sandy Lane, has already had over two weeks without delivery of normal letter mail. We had one day of delivery, Saturday the 18th of December, but nothing since. I am waiting for several different time sensitive important letters, including travel documents. It seems that our regular Postie, a nice guy who is conscientious about his role, has been tasked with parcel deliveries without any help being put in place to maintain normal deliveries. The situation may have been exacerbated by a failure on the part of management to ensure additional staff had been brought in on a temporary basis to deal with the easily foreseeable extra workload. I accept that Covid may be affecting staff levels but this appalling lack of service could have been avoided by management simply bringing in support. As for trying to speak to someone on the phone at Norton Street; forget it. I have tried dozens of times but nobody answers! If I suffer any financial loss due to this failure by RM to fulfil their obligations I shall be seeking advice regarding legal against and I suggest anyone else in my position does the same.
