Go into Drs surgery to book appointment as you can never get through by phone only to be told that there's no appointments on the system and I need to come back after Friday to book one. Today is Wednesday! Ridiculous. Will say when I have seen a Dr they've been good, but I wouldn't recommend this surgery
Received a letter saying I need to book an appointment following a blood test as the test is abnormal so I called to book and was told they have nothing for TWO MONTHS and to call back in a week. Totally unacceptable.
If you're calling about depression, call someone else. It takes enough effort to try get help for yourself and speaking to these in the phone just gives you more reason to want to stay in bed, do nothing, or kill yourself.
Awful doctors, Was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at 18 a few weeks ago by a doctor here. She then said she will look at an appointment for a week and a half later for a follow up. she looked and there was no availability and lied to me and my auntie and said go out to reception to book an appointment knowing there wasn't any available. After that initial appointment a receptionist rung me and was very rude saying my doctor will have a telephone appointment on that Friday morning. I then didn't get a phone call till 2pm that Friday by a completely different doctor. My doctor knows how much my medication makes me drowsy and knew I struggle to stay awake so I missed the call as I finally drifted to sleep out off exhaustion. It's a horrific doctors.
Really really bad service. When wanting to book an appointment either do a E-consult, and the call back so many days later. I have signed up to this GP but every time they book me an appointment it’s always somewhere else. Never at the GP where we have signed up in the beginning. They never answer the phone and when they do they hang up in 1 minute telling you to call 111 or do an E-consult. Always the same thing, you tell your problems to them and they say they have to tell a senior nurse to call back which I think it’s not right. This is ridiculous, never have I been so frustrated with a doctors before. I rather wait an hour at the GP to be seen by someone who knows what they are doing rather then being sent off to a total different GP and still not being helped. Most staff are rude and not helpful at all. This is the last time I am using this GP.
My wife is having eye injections, and following a review the consultant decided to get my wife to have some eye medication for dry eyes. The consultant filled in a form for me to take to the Adelaide Surgery I went on a Friday, only to find the place shut. I banged on the windows, eventually a lady turned up, who then took our form to pass on to a doctor. That was on the 3rd Dec. Its now the 10th Dec, and the form has gone missing. Absolutely Terrible surgery,. Never answers the phone.
just spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who helped me get set up with Patient access and made sure I was on the system. I'm new to the surgery so hopefully it continues to be this lovely!
This surgery is awful. Long waiting times, can rarely get though on the phone and when you do they are really unhelpful.
Dr Hashmi, wanted to look at my 6 month old baby for injuries as I came to see her for PND. She actually said this to me! I get it, safeguarding is important, but to voice this out loud to a new mother suffering with PND is unprofessional and insensitive. I wasn't offered therapy or a stay in a baby and mother unit. Just years of suffering and piles of antidepressants. I hope this never happens to another mother.
