5/ 5

Doesn't matter where I go in the world, and I've travelled to nearly all corners of this little blue planet of ours, Snowdonia still manages to be my favourite. Holds such childhood nostalgia for me, spent many a summer holiday there. Beautiful landscape, stunningly clean and such hospitable people even though they have the whole world of tourists there.

There are multiple routes available for all levels of fitness, take plenty of water with you! There are a few different parking options around, ranging between £4-15 depending on how long you need to stay. They're are bus routes set up to take you to the main walking start line. Brilliant day out and excellent views from the top.

Absolutely stunning scenery, from valleys to mountain passes, waterfalls, rivers and streams. Numerous nature trails, hiking routes and historical villages. Be aware there is no free parking .... all have parking metres, and I had seen a few cars with parking tickets.

If you get good weather, there's no better place on earth... if you get bad weather, there'll be a decent pub nearby. Wait a couple of hours and the sun will shine again. Some great walks to be had here, and epic scenery.
