Smyths Toys Superstores salisbury

Visited this store a while ago now, seems from the negative reviews that nothing has changed... I was browsing the milk bottles for babies section when a older member of staff quickly seized on the moment and started to strongly recommend the Dr. Brown range. Said her nephew used them, her family swore by them etc. I said then I was concerned about too fast a flow. Again she professed that they were slow, perfect for hiccupy babies really pushed them. So I made the purchase. Tried them on baby. Flow was so quick she nigh on choked! What she managed to drink she threw up. I went into store- manager was told what happened. He found member of staff. Refused a refund on basis of maternity stock. Questioned her in front of me and in front of whole store, the poisonous little dwarf refused to admit she had recommended the product, and stood there lying to my face that the conversation had ever been had. I even quoted her on her nephew and her family swearing by it. Ah no she said that after the sale had been made, even though she didn’t actually tend the till to me! This reason is why I will never go back to this store again, and it left such a bitter experience I have not used Smyths since...

Brought a brand new stroller pram for my 10month old daughter and after 2days of having the pram the brakes failed and tipped my daughter over and she nearly broke her nose. Took it back they gave me a new make of a pram. Staff were very good and careful still doesn't make up for wat happened to my baby this week.

I don't know why have a customer service area, as they don't have any customer service, just a more than my jobs worth attitude and little to no help whatsoever, I blame the management aswell for allowing their staff to bring down the whole shop with their nonchalant attitude, these days with so many shops closing and the public being asked to support shops in the high street you would think the staff would just be more friendly , or maybe they just don't want the work or even care

Bought a load of toys for Easter on Saturday. Sadly 1 was faulty so brought back on Monday and even though we did not have packaging store refunded. We were so pleased that when we went to buy a replacement toy ended up spending a lot more than the refund. See? Good customer service does make you more money :) Thanks a lot!

Terrible experience. Arrived to collect pre order worth 85£ that had already been paid for. Dan... informed me I needed to show photo ID. No mention of this in text message. With two toddlers in tow and an impending birthday tomorrow I had to go back to car to collect appropriate photo Id . Bank card with name on that was used to pay was deemed not sufficient. Customer service was rude and appalling. Won’t return in a hurry!

I went into Smyths for a baby swing for our 12 day old suffering from reflux. After a video chat with my partner I was left with 2 choices. I found Sophie (baby expert). She spent a good half hour with me, talking through the pros and cons and delving through reviews online to ensure this swing fitted our needs and could help with our little ones reflux. I left with the perfect swing and it's helped our little one incredibly. Sophie was really helpful, honest and knowledgeable. Credit to Smyths.

A big shout out to Keong, second time in the last 6 months that he has given us his time and expertise. Not being a gamer it’s difficult to know where to start when buying products for my sons XBox. Nothing is too much trouble, honest and great impartial advice. Really friendly team which is why we make the 50 mile round trip. Well done guys keep up the great work and brilliant customer service.11/10

Shocking customer service.my other half ordered a game for our son for ps4 collection an was told she needed photo id to collect.as she didn't have any would have to collect in 3 days...service is 3rd world an will never use again.1 star given as I had to else it would of been minus....absolutely shocking service
