Good bar for cocktails. I really liked the chic decor. Food was fine, nothing special.

1st visit - really enjoyed it. Lots of sharing going on around the table but all food eaten. Will return soon

Great lunch here today. Really friendly attentive staff. Good was brill. Atmosphere was brill. Half price Monday too which we didn't know about so happy when the bill came. Ace. :)

Went on a Monday when it was 50percent off. Had a nice breakfast with a brew included in the price. Lovely.

The food was delicious and the cocktail trees are amazing, however the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were sat down at a table we had booked and left without a menu to look at or anybody asking if we wanted any drinks. We had to go to the bar and order food and drinks ourselves, which if that’s the normal order of play at Slug & Lettuce then fine, but it would’ve been nice to know as most restaurants I’ve dined at have table service.

We always find ourselves in a slug and lettuce wherever we travel and once again, we were not disappointed. A great atmosphere, decent food and drink and always with a smile from the staff - nothing is too much trouble. Thanks to all for helping us enjoy a great time

Went for Bottomless Brunch. It was really busy and short staffed! The team all was working so hard! It was just great! The Christmas Dec's look amazing. See you New Year!!

Good service nice cocktails. My glass turned out to be dirty with some residue of someone's lipstick. But this was not a problem and staff were everything you'd expect.

On arrival, we were not greeted by anyone and so made our way to a table. And, as no member of staff approached us, we decided to download the app to order drinks. When these arrived, we planned to order food. However, after 30 minutes, the drinks had not arrived. We decided, at this point, not to order food. And, as no explanation was forthcoming, I approached the bar for a refund. The explanation given was - firstly - that the cellar keys had been mislaid. And - secondly - that the app doesn't always work... I don't doubt either explanation. However, why did no one come to our table to explain that the cellar keys were mislaid? Or to take our order? I empathise with hospitality staff. But not the businesses which own them. Apparently, I'll get a refund in 5 days. Shocking. As of August 5, I still have not received a refund for the bottle of wine I did not get. I shall add a screenshot of the email receipt to this review.
